Purpose
of UV Light
WA-1310
incorporates the technology of UV Germicidal
lighting (UV-C) to effectively inactivate
microorganisms. Due to its short wavelength
(200 to 270nm), UV-C penetrate outer
membranes of bacteria, yeasts, molds
and viruses - attacking the DNA which
makes up their structure. By breaking
the chains within the DNA, the microorganism
is then unable to reproduce and die.
UV Germicidal light has proven effective
in a growing number of applications
where control of microorganisms is important.

This is the REAR Of Portable Air Conditioner |
FIRST STEP: Attach the hose connector to AC |
|
|
STEP TWO: Attach the hose to the connector |
STEP THREE: Attach the other end of the hose to the window using foam strip that comes along with the window kit. Foam strip is attached to the window using tape we provide with the package. |
|
 |
This image shows final setup. |
You can also move it from one room to another. |
DETAILED SETUP DESCRIPTION: Open the package. You will find TWO connectors. One is Hose-AC connector and second is Hose-Foam connector. All you need to do is connect them all together and you are all set:-
1. Coonect the hose to the air conditioner.
2. Connect the OTHER end of the hose to the foam.
3. Connect the foam to the window using given tape.
Please note it is easy to setup foam strip with the window. Lets say, if you have a sliding window or sliging door, you will slide the window for example by 7 inches and place the foam strip (which is 7 inches wide x 24 inches long) in the gap using the tape. The foam strip already has a existing hole for the hose, so you can run the hose right through it using the connector which connects the hose and the foam strip. Once this setup is completed, you are all done!
CONNECTING TO A WALL: YOU WILL USE THE SAME SETUP. All you need is a 5 INCH hole in the wall, so you could run the hose outside. You can make 5 inch hole in the wall by getting required equipment from stores like Home Depo or Lowes. You can even rent them for other hardware stores.
YOU CAN RUN THE HOSE THROUGH THE WINDOW, WALL, FLOOR, CEILING, FIREPLACE, GLASS DOOR ETC. There are many ways to vent the hose and it is very simple. As long as the other end of the hose is vented out of the room, you will enjoy the AC every summer!
"All portable AC's have Self evaporating system, 75% of water is evaporated by the air conditioner itself, but 25% of water still needs to be drained every 1-5 days depending upon the usage. Some users don't empty it for the whole week. Worst case scenerio if you forget to empty the water, the air conditioner will shut itself down indicating it needs to be emptied. IT WILL NEVER LEAK. "
Draining a portable air conditioner is easy and takes just few seconds. DETAILS ON HOW TO DRAIN WATER FROM PORTABLE AC:-
|
|
STEP 1 : Turn Off the unit, Position the water tray or any tray available flat on the floor under the drain hole. |
STEP 2 : Unscrew the drain knob & pull rubber plug from the drain hole, the condensed water will drain out automatically. |
|
|
OPTION 2 : You can also attach a drain pipe to the air conditioner for continous drainage as above. |
You can easily attach an extension to the water tube for longer drainage setup, if needed. |
